Hardware manufacturer Gigabyte wants to sell it's 61.5% part of GeCube, who have sold their graphics card business. GeCube said they would be looking to compete in a non-video card market soon, but the reporting Chinese newspaper Apply Daily was unable to find out who that partner will be. GeCube used to produce ATI video cards, but was unable to sustain itself in the heavily competitive market, especially since with former NVIDIA only manufacturer XFX there is another big player on the block. In January of this year, GeCube video cards were in the papers again, as someone had been selling HD4000 series cards in the GeCube name as Hexus reports. The difference could only be spotted by checking the labels on the back of the card and matching them with the official list of GeCube cards.
