Enermax has announced the launch of its Apollish series fans, first featured at CeBIT earlier this year. The Apollish series contain 'twister bearing technology' which has been included in previous Enermax products such as the Everest, Magma and Cluster fan series and the ECO80+ PSUs. Twister bearing technology reduces friction providing a long lifetime whilst maintaining low noise. The new fans contain up to 15 LEDs each (120mm fan) for a dazzling light display. Enermax has stated that the LEDs in the Apollish fans are four times brighter than conventional LEDs but that claim is yet to be tested. Enermax has also utilised the 'splutter deposition' method used in the car industry to forge a scratch-resistant and glossy finish on each fan. The fan blades can also be detached for easy cleaning. The Apollish fans are available in two sizes (120mm and 80mm) and four colors: red, silver, blue and green. The Apollish series of fans are available for approximately US$14 and US$20 for the 80mm and 120mm models respectively, excluding tax.
