Google Adds License Filter to Image Search

Google has added a new feature to its Image Search, a new filter. A drop-down menu has appeared in the advanced options of the search; one that lets you specify what usage rights you have for the sought pictures. Google states that this option will work with pictures tagged with various licenses, such as Creative Commons or the GNU Free Documentation license. This tool might be useful for people wanting to repost a generic image legally, but I can't see a significant portion of users filtering searches in this manner. However, there aren't that many ways to filter images in the first place, and maybe someday I'll find myself using this new feature as well.
