NVIDIA GeForce GT 210 & 220 To Come In September
As you might have heard, NVIDIA, manufacturer of graphics cards have decided to release new 40nm cards. These will be named the GeForce GT 210 and 220, and will likely perform at 9400-9500GT standards. Oh, and this time NVIDIA have decided to go the whole ten yards by using DirectX 10.1 – another first for them as well, maybe to prepare for DirectX 11? The Commercial Times reports that they should be arriving in September and will come with the following specifications: The GT 210 will come with 24-Cores, a 64-Bit Memory Bus, 512MB of DDR2 or DDR3 RAM with clocks of 800MHz, and the GPU and Shader with clocks of 600 and 1425MHz. The GT 220 is slightly faster with 48 processing cores, a 128-Bit Memory Bus, 1GB of RAM at 1600MHz and with GPU and Shader clocks of 625 and 1375MHz. Who knows, AMD might use this against NVIDIA for deciding to use DirectX 10.1 when DirectX 11 is literally just around the corner after the release of these cards.
