Patriot Memory Offering 128GB USB Flash Drive

Following on Monday’s announcement of the 128GB DT200  Kingston flash drive, Patriot Memory yesterday announced the release of its own 128GB Xporter Magnum drive. That brings the number of companies with mega-monster sized flash drive to three as Edge Tech also announced plans for a 128GB drive. Patriot adds some perspective just how big these drives when they say you can make a large portion of your audio and video collections portable now – the drive is even large enough to hold 14 Blu-ray titles. Patriot also says that besides being big, the Xporter Magnum is also fast with data transfer rates up to 31MB/s. It’ll be interesting to see how Patriot positions its product in relation to the other two pricewise as they haven’t disclosed pricing or availability yet.
