Corsair's Dominator memory modules are equipped with a unique set of removable cooling fins and feature dual-path heat exchange which enables both the memory chips and the printed circuit boards to be cooled. Each memory kit also comes standard with the Airflow fan. The fins need to be removable in order to support additional cooling options from Corsair such as its Hydro Series H30 water block and Ice Series T30 thermoelectric cooler.
Corsair is adding a third cooling option with the release of a set of extended fins made from extruded and machined aluminum that offer twice the surface area for increased cooling performance and an enhanced 'aggressive' look. The fins comes in sets of three for triple-channel DDR3 kits and can be had in either black for $19.99 or racing-red for $24.99. Both are available directly from Corsair's on-line store.
