A company set to open its doors on June 1, Quo Computer, will be selling Mac clones. This puts them in the same situation as Psystar, the company which did the same and was sued by Apple and recently declared bankruptcy. Quo says they will try to mimic the Apple computers as closely as possible, and will be offering three desktop systems. Quo hopes to succeed where Psystar failed by opening a physical store location in Los Angeles, instead of limiting themselves to online sales. The founder of the company expects to be sued by Apple, which makes you wonder why they would even try.

In my opinion the more companies that do it the more publicity they get, which means more people hear about this option of owning an Apple computer. ------ The more the information out that you can build/buy an Apple computer through a company other than Apple the better...
