Overclocking or even tweaking your notebook's settings for better performance can be a royal pain due to most notebook's lack of options in the the BIOS. Using Intel XMP profiles for memory is one way to automatically have your memory run at its highest rated settings for better performance. Patriot Memory has announced a pair of its notebook memory products have been XMP-certified by Intel. The low latency memory modules are certified to run at 1066MHz at timings of 5-5-5-15 at 1.6V. The parts come in either a single 2GB stick or a 4GB (2x2GB) kit. Patriot hasn't released information on pricing or availability.
