Patriot Unveils 'G Series' Gaming Memory

California based Patriot Memory has announced its latest series of gaming memory: the G series. The G series will be based around its enhanced latency line and are available in DDR3 and DDR2 versions. The DDR3 variants will be available in 3x1GB @ 1600MHz, 3x2GB @ 1333MHz, 2x2GB @ 1600MHz and 2x2GB @ 1333MHz. The older DDR2 variety will come in 2x2GB @ 1066MHz and 2x2GB @ 800MHz. The G series are equipped with a new black heat spreader with cooling fins and Patriot's signature black PCB. Patriot say that the new kits will have an "advantageous price" but it is yet to be seen what that will be. No details are yet known of the G Series availability.
