Gaming seems to be a strong market for manufacturers, including companies such as Razer, SteelSeries, and even other manufacturers like EVGA, BFG, ASUS, and MSI. All of these companies have some type of gaming products on the market, and MSI is just one of the many manufacturers to release a new series of gaming devices and peripherals recently, known as the Syren Series. The company has put forth a new sound card with X-Fi, dubbed the SyrenSound X-Fi, that can run though PCI-E x1, deliver support for 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound systems, and deliver a signal-to-noise of 104 db. A new headset, named the SyrenPhone Gaming, features a 2.5mm cable, a gold plated connector, and controls that can easily be reached by the user. MSI also unleashed a set of USB portable speakers that feature a power of 2 watts RMS and can be stored in a traveling pouch for more portable systems such as netbooks.
