Normally the word 'beta' is attached to software, not hardware. However, NZXT has named its new case the Beta. The mid-tower steel case is designed to offer gamers a chassis that affords great value without sacrificing performance. The Beta four external 5.25" bays and five internal hard drives with screwless installation. The case is large enough to fit larger 10.5" video cards. NZXT hasn't skimped on cooling either with a total of four 120mm fans. The case has other touches not normally found in a value case like a black painted interior and the ability to mount thicker fans in the front to help improve airflow. NZXT is offering the case beginning this month at a suggested retail price of $49.99.

That's an interesting looking case and more interesting still is how well it will perform.
