The NetBSD Project has released NetBSD 5.0, its thirteenth release of the operating system. This release features a rewritten threading subsystem which allows for scalability and large performance gains on SMP enabled systems, the jemalloc memory allocator, and many other new features and updates. Available for download from an FTP mirror.
Mandriva announced the release of Mandriva Linux 2009 Spring today as well. Most major programs such as GNOME, KDE, X.Org have been upgraded, and a much faster boot is promised. Other features include support for the EXT4 filesystem. Available for download here.

Thanks for the heads up. I was waiting for NetBSD 5.0 but hadn't checked it for a while. That'll give me something to do at some point :)
