MSI are at it again! With the recent release of their Lightning GTX 260s, MSI has pulled another one out of the hat – the MSI N285GTX Superpipe 2G OC, and yes that IS a mouthful. This uses SuperPipe Technology and Twin Frozr (dual-fan) thermal design, hoping that this will keep the GTX 285 nice and cool. The heat pipes are 8mm thick, which is 60% thicker than normal heat pipes. You might have noticed in the name, that it comes with 2GB of memory as well. The core clock speed had been bumped up from 648MHz to 680MHz; the stream processor HASN’T been overclocked and stays at 1476MHz, while the memory speed has been increased from 2484MHz to 2500MHz. It also comes bundled with the game ‘Tomb Raider Underworld’. Let’s see how much this beast costs in the near future!
