Ubuntu 9.04 Out Today

The newest version of Ubuntu, for the desktop, server, and netbook/notebook environment, is available today. It features the latest GNOME 2.26, which includes brasero, an all-in-one CD burning utility, and the ability to handle multiple monitors improved. It also has updated graphics driver support, the latest kernel, increased boot performance, and Server Edition has Eucalyptus, which enables you to implement your own private cloud. Hopefully they keep looking into the bugs that they are aware of and get them fixed. I wonder how this build will perform though, as 8.10 was reported to be slower than 8.04 in some circumstances. Either way, I've got my copy downloading now.
