Verizon appears to be changing its attitude toward the iPhone. When the iPhone initially released, the CEO of Verizon said that Apple was unlikely to become a major player in the wireless game. Perhaps that was because Apple chose to go with the GSM technology of AT&T over the CDMA offered by Verizon. However, with the coming 4G networks, Verizon customers may finally be able to get their hands on an iPhone. Verizon will be joining AT&T and T-Mobile in migrating to LTE network technology, meaning that the iPhone could become available to people who don't use AT&T.
