Back in February, A review by the site PC Perspective claimed that their tests showed that Intel's X25-M SSD had problems with fragmentation and performance slow-downs. They found that this mostly happened with writing small files to the drive. Intel responded by saying that they could not reproduce these problems in the lab. But now, Intel has released a new firmware for their X25-M drives. And they asked the reviewers at PC Perspective to test it. Why? Because they found the same results that the reviewer did. PC Perspective tested the new firmware and found that it did indeed fix the fragmentation problem as well as one other thing: it boosted the write speed.

one thing i dont like about companies is that they are right and no one else. stuburn as hell yet it can bring their whole line down wen alot of customers come to dislike their products due to that fault. bullshit. flaxible companies should admit fault and find a way to work with them. and it should be done like this. thankl god there is one company thats not stupid
