Will Wright has announced that he is leaving Electronic Arts to create a new “think tank” to develop new intellectual property for games and other entertainment. Will Wright is the man behind the wildly popular game The Sims, and more recently Spore. The start-up is called Stupid Fun Club and will receive an investment from EA, one that will surely bear some fruit in the near future. There are 4 new games related to the Spore franchise coming out soon, including one for the Wii. Whatever comes out of the Stupid Fun Club, you can be sure that it will be just as exciting as the rest of the games from Will.
