Macworld will be moving to February in 2010, a change from its current January time slot. In the past, the dates for Macworld have fallen on similar dates with the Consumer Electronics Show. Many reporters were forced to choose, while others spent hours on planes so they could attend both. In 2007, the trade shows fell on the same days, and Apple announced the iPhone while many reporters were still at CES. Macworld will be open on Saturday as well this year, allowing those who normally wouldn't be able to attend due to work to experience it.
