Apple has been showing off the new features of its upcoming iPhone OS 3.0 today, to conincide with the release of a new SDK for the platform. The big news for iPhone users is that 3.0 will add a few of the features that many have been calling for, the most obvious of these being the (seemingly simple) ability to copy and paste, which will work with both text and photos. You'll also get MMS support, A2DP stereo Bluetooth and the addition of Spotlight to the home screen page, allowing you to quickly perform universal searches on the phone. There are plenty of other new things to pique your interest, such as push notification functionality, the ability for developers to connect with hardware accessories through their apps, and auto-login for WiFi hotspots. You can check out the full run down of new features over at Engadget, or you can take a gander at the presentation on Apple's site.
