Nintendo DS: 100M Sold

That's right, Nintendo sold its 100 millionth DS console this week. This includes all models of the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and the DSi to date. Its game sales are growing similarly, with 83 titles that have sold over 1 million copies, seven of which have sold over 10 million. The DSi is planned to start selling in the US on April 5, 2009, sporting new features such as two built-in cameras, larger screens, and improved speakers. It also features audio recording and editing capabilities, but does not support the MP3 format. I suspect these changes will be enough to keep customers happy, and I'm positive that Nintendo DS sales will continue to rise steadily.
