Alleged Palin E-mail Hacker Hit With Three Additional Charges
It's been a while since we heard anything about David Kernell, the University of Tennessee student charged with illegally accessing the e-mail account of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Now, five months after a Federal grand jury handed down an indictment on one count of illegally accessing a computer, prosecutors have added three more charges of fraud, unlawful transmission of material outside of the state of Tennessee and obstruction of justice. Kernell pleaded not guilty to all four counts today and a judge agreed to move his trial from May 15 to October 27 in light of the additional charges. All four charges faced by Kernell are felonies.
