If you want DDR3 memory, then you can end up spending a good chunk of change, which is why products such as Patriot's new Signature series may be ideal for some. Coming in rated for 1066MHz with a CAS latency of 7, Signature series memory kits are available in 3GB (3 x 1GB) and 6GB (3 x 2GB) configurations and can be purchased with or without heatspreaders. Pricing and availability aren't mentioned, but the Signature series should provide a good option for those putting together a new system on a tighter budget.
