In the desktop and even mobile computer market, Skype is used somewhat heavily in dealing with people from day to day over the internet. Nokia seems to understand this, and will be introducing Skype into their phones as a new deal that has set the companies on a path together. Nokia even plans to add the Skype functionality into the address book, so users of their phones can see if their said contact is online or offline. Both companies also plan to let users use Skype over Wi-Fi and 3G networks. The first phone to see the Skype integration will be the new Nokia Smartphone, which is known as the N97.
