This past Monday AMD released its latest round of 45nm processors based on the new AM3 socket with support for DDR3 memory. Intel countered yesterday with some news of its own by announcing it would be investing $7bn in the U.S. to build 32nm manufacturing facilities. Along with that announcement, Intel released more information on the roadmap for its 32nm 'Westmere' processors. Along those lines, we have a review of the 45nm Core i7 Nehalem 965 Extreme Quad processor today (reviewed by OCC here). Keeping the Core i7 cool can be a chore and that's where the Noctua NH-U12P LGA 1366 heatsink comes in (recently reviewed by OCC here). Our roundup also features a pair of reviews on Nvidia's latest GTX 285/295 videocards along with a look at the Thermaltake Spedo Advance full-tower case (also reviewed by OCC here).
