A Pink Netbook For Your Valentine?

Following the surely indisputable logic that girls love the color pink, along with things that are cute and miniaturized, wouldn't it be a great idea to offer your loved one the gift of a netbook this Valentine's Day? Both MSI and Samsung seem to think it might be, with MSI offering an adorable pink version of its U100, complete with love heart style detailing on the lid. They have even gone so far as to offer 15 people the chance to win one of the special editions by submitting a photo of themselves with their Valentine to an online gallery. Or you can just buy one for $429.99, it's up to you. Samsung has gone for a slightly more subdued candy pink with matching accents for its NC10 pink edition, which you can grab in the UK for £316. Either way, it's a reasonable outlay for a Valentine's gift, though I suppose we've got to find some way to stimulate the economy, right?

It may not be pink, but don't forget the Hello Kitty Netbook, which is sure to be a hit with the girls. :D
