When Apple updated its Macbook range with the new aluminum unibody models back in October, it decided to keep the $999 white Macbook around for a little while longer for those of us not feeling so flush. The good news for those still looking to pick up a white Macbook is that specifications have now been bumped to fall somewhat in line with the aluminum models. That means a faster Core 2 Duo processor with 1066MHz FSB, 2GB of RAM and most importantly the NVIDIA 9400M GPU, which replaces the old Intel graphics. The price stays at $999, thankfully (and as it should be).
