OCZ Launches Apex Series SSDs

The Core series by OCZ has been classified by them as a mainstream drive, delivering both decent performance and a good value for what it offers. The company has just made way for their new series of solid state drives, called the Apex series. These drives contain a new internal RAID 0 architecture that allow the drives to have a read speed of 230MB/sec and a write speed of 160MB/sec. OCZ is delivering the Apex series in sizes of 60GB, 120GB, and 250GB, while coming with a two-year warranty and are also rated for a total of 1.5 mean time between failures.
