Employees aren't allowed to do anything about people stealing anyway. :shrug: It's cheaper to let people steal than deal with the lawsuits that come up because of false accusations. It's stupid, but that's the way this screwed up society works.

I used to work for a CCity and this would happen all the time because the people on the floor are idiots and dont pay attention and also none of the security ever works, or if it does go off they say its fine and wave them off. Within 2 months of the start of thier fiscal yr last yr they lost about 15 thousand dollars worth of stuff in my area alone. Infact some guy i guess came in and took all the ipods that were behind glass and no one noticed him ripping apart the case and stuffing his backpack. Circuit City has no one to blame but themselves for going bankrupt.
