Two Men Walk Out of Circuit City With $2300 TV

Sunday afternoon, two men walked into a Circuit City in North Carolina, picked up a 67-inch Samsung TV, and walked out of the store to their car. Instead of stopping the theives, an employee asked them if they needed string to tie it down. By the time the employee returned with the string, the thieves were gone. I bet I know someone who lost their job that day.

Employees aren't allowed to do anything about people stealing anyway. :shrug: It's cheaper to let people steal than deal with the lawsuits that come up because of false accusations. It's stupid, but that's the way this screwed up society works.

Shakes head what a bunch of idiots

I used to work for a CCity and this would happen all the time because the people on the floor are idiots and dont pay attention and also none of the security ever works, or if it does go off they say its fine and wave them off. Within 2 months of the start of thier fiscal yr last yr they lost about 15 thousand dollars worth of stuff in my area alone. Infact some guy i guess came in and took all the ipods that were behind glass and no one noticed him ripping apart the case and stuffing his backpack. Circuit City has no one to blame but themselves for going bankrupt.

I know who you are nightshade... lol how about those ladies who were shoving laptops up their skirts into some harness...we can't exactly go checking up peoples' skirts to check for merchandise. Bottom line is there are always theives, and they evolve like bacteria... find one way to stop them, they learn new tricks... Poor upper management is what is killing this company, making stupid decisions like taking away commission, and firing the better employees. I swear I hope we get bought out this week, otherwise my hubby and I are S.O.L...
