Hardware Roundup: Nvidia GTX 295 Version

Nvidia pulled the wraps off its latest videocard, the GTX 295. While news had already leaked about this card, now that the NDA has been officially lifted the reviews are pouring in. Briefly, the GTX 295 has a 55nm process GPU with a core clock speed of 576MHz,shader clock speed of 1242MHz and a memory clock speed of 1000MHz. Total video memory is 1792 and sports 480 processor cores. So how well does it stack up against the competition? Read on to find out.

Nvidia Rules. They are very aggressive and do stir up a lot, but when it comes down to it they are really working hard to bring PC games to life. The whole Physics thing, at first i was like..Why the hell? But now that i see the potential, it just blows my mind. Nvidia could have just settled with graphics but the seen all the unused potential. Physics is gonna bring our games to life and look at the risk Nvidia took to make it happen. No company is perfect but i always look to see them a little deeper than the shell. And nvidia really is serious about their visual computing and work very very hard to change things at a very fast rate. You have to respect companies that take such risk because they could have just set back and made video cards like ATI and then when someone else comes out with something try to mimic that.
