SanDisk, who is a major flash memory manufacturer and supplier, has announced a new set of solid state drives to be used by both system makers and end-users. The new drives are mainly for netbooks, though can be used in a variety of different situations. SanDisk is saying that their new drives are going to be perfect for the netbook market, as they offer exceptional performance, power usage, as well as a low price tag; though one has not been set yet. Disk space is going to be ranging from 8GB, 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes and the drives will be available in some part of February. All of the drives feature SanDisk’s own All Bit Line architecture as well.
