Though LiveJournal is a very popular social networking website used by many people across the world, it recently announced company layoffs. These layoffs have not been revealed totally, as a grand number is not known, but the website did reveal that its vice president Matthew Berardo is getting pushed out from his job. The headquarters, along with the servers, customer service team, legal staff, and admin staff will all stay in the United States. The global product development and design part of the site will now be based in Moscow however, and will allow the company to supposedly build a stronger business model. Some people are starting to think that the social website may go down in the future, mainly due to the related job losses.
