This past weekend, Intel launched a new version of its quad-core processors for its mobile portfolio, dubbed the Q9000. The chip sells for far less than its highest prices series cousin, which goes for around just over $1000. With this chip, Acer has partnered with Intel to launch its new notebook that features a GeForce 9700M GT, 500GB hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a webcam, and the obvious Intel Q9000. The notebook sells for $1,799.99 and also includes an 18.4-inch WUXGA display along with Windows Vista Premium 64-bit. Along with Acer launching its new notebook, partner Intel also added four new mobile processors to its dual-core portfolio, which include the Core 2 Duo T9550, T9800, P8700, and P9600.
