Wal-Mart to Sell iPhones Beginning Sunday

As previously reported earlier this month, rumors swirled that Wal-Mart would begin selling iPhones after Christmas and that it would involve a 4GB iPhone model for $99. Well today, Wal-Mart confirmed that half of that rumor was true. Beginning Sunday, Wal-Mart will be selling iPhones, but absent is the rumored 4GB $99 model. Instead, Wal-Mart will be carrying the black 8GB iPhone for $197 and the 16GB iPhone in black or white for $297, and all of them require a new two-year AT&T service agreement or qualified upgrade.
