In October, Blizzard announced that its mammoth MMORPG, World of Warcraft (WoW), reached the 11 million subscriber mark. Just two months later, Blizzard has announced that the number is now up to 11.5 million subscribers worldwide. Blizzard was helped by the recently-released expansion pack, The Wrath of the Lich King, which saw 2.8 million copies fly off the shelves within the first 24 hours of availability, and over 4 million since that November 13, 2008 release. WoW continues to be the biggest, most popular MMO to date, and that doesn't seem to be changing any time soon.

World of Warcraft has not won any awards yet however Blizzard Entertainment has won the loyalty of millions of fans. Blizzard Entertainment has reported that World of Warcraft now boasts a subscription base of 11 million wow account. As an avid player myself I cannot find a better way to spend $14.99 a month. You cannot find better entertainment now a days.
