Patriot Memory Releases 256GB Warp v3 Solid State Drive (SSD)

Patriot Memory may be best known for its high quality RAM, but the company is making a lot of noise with its solid state drives (SSD). Today, Patriot announced a new and improved version of its Warp Solid State Drive that not only boasts a whopping 256GB of storage space, but also read speeds up to 240MB/s and write speeds up to 160MB/s. Referred to as Warp v3, it boasts a 37% and 60% boost in read and write speeds, respectively, over the previous version; Warp v2 only went up to 128GB capacity with 175MB/s read and 100MB/s write. As with previous versions, the Warp v3 is a 2.5" drive with SATA I/II connections, making it perfect for both desktops and laptops.
