Many companies over the past few years, mainly the ones that make solely NVIDIA cards, have been rumored to be partnering with ATI and producing Radeon video cards. EVGA was a part of this rumor some time ago, but has now denied anything dealing with the Radeon chip maker. XFX rumors have now begun to circulate regarding their possibility to start producing ATI cards under their brand. The main reason for this rumor is due to the fact that NVIDIA cards aren’t selling too well at the moment, mainly because of price issues, as well as performance problems compared to ATI graphics cards. The company has yet to confirm or deny these rumors, so anything could come from it. If they do in fact confirm the reports, it is said that XFX will possibly have its first Radeon card produced around the first-quarter of 2009.
