Many users that own and use thumb drives, use those which connect through a USB 2.0 port. With the introduction of eSATA on many motherboards and prebuilt computers as a standard, OCZ has now released its own pen drive, called Throttle, which connects through this type of interface. The company claims that the drive’s read speed is over the 60MB per second, by a whopping 30MB over what USB 2.0 offers, totaling 90MB per second of read speed. The write speed however, is quite slow, and tracks in at about 30MB per second. OCZ is offering Throttle in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB sizes, and can be purchased through various retailers.
