Electronic Arts has been trying to move into Asia’s online gaming market for quite a while now. It has recently released a few popular sports titles, such as NBA Street Online, as well as EA Sports FIFA Online into the Asian gaming community. Electronic Arts has now also bought out a South Korean game developer known as J2MSoft Incorporated to expand upon its involvement with the geographic area. EA plans to build online games upon their own franchise, but also wants to continue work on games such as RayCity, as well as Taan and Debut, that J2MSoft Incorporated have created. Even though the deal is complete, the value of the acquisition was not released by either of the two companies involved.
