French researchers at the University of Louis Pasteur have discovered a drug, called SRT1720, that "tricks the body into burning off fat." The drug has yet to be tested on humans, but has been tested successfully in mice. Over the course of ten weeks, mice were put on a high-fat diet and given SRT1720. There was no weight gain and no adverse reactions. Further testing still needs to be done before it can be tested on humans, but the results thus far are promising.
