AMD's HD 4870 X2 board has put the red camp back on top of the heap in term of graphics card performance and now Sapphire has released the HD 4850 X2 (reviewed by OCC here). Sapphire has also been generous enough to sponsor a giveaway contest for OCC members. Yesterday's roundup saw a flurry of activity from review sites around the Web on the new Core i7 processors from Intel. Of course, with the release of a new processor architecture from Intel comes the need for a whole new socket, the LGA 1336, and the corresponding X58 Express chipset. Intel has its own board, the DX58SO, and other manufacturers are coming to market with their own versions. In today's roundup you get a chance to compare Intel's offering to the Asus P6T Deluxe. Other reviews include a look at Thermaltake's VI-ON hard drive enclosure (also reviewed by OCC here), the Roccat Kone gaming mouse, Asus' 901 Eee PC and a power supply from Silver Power.
