Patriot Viper Series Tri-Channel Memory Kits for Intel X58 Express Chipset

We're beginning to see more product announcements from various component manufacturers leading up the release of the Intel Core i7 Nehalem processors. With the release of the new architecture comes the necessity to upgrade to a new X58 chipset board and new memory as well. With the move to an integrated memory controller in the Nehalem CPUs comes the new tri-channel memory. Patriot has just announced its Viper Series Tri-Channel memory kits available in 3GB and 6GB versions designed for the X58 Express chipsets. These DDR3 kits come in both 1600MHz and 1333MHz speeds in either low latency (8-8-8-24) or enhanced latency (9-9-9-24) timings with 7-7-7-20 timing available for the 1333MHz model. As with all Viper series memory kits, these will feature the signature Viper heat shields and will also include Intel's newest XMP settings for Core i7 processor based platforms. Patriot will also be releasing 3GB and 6GB PC3-10666 1333MHz CL9 Tri-Channel kits in their entry-level Signature Line.
