CT Electronics announced it's new GPU cooler called the GVC-1. The GVC-1 was developed in conjunction with Dr. Gamal Refai-Ahmed, AMD Fellow and Chief Thermal Architect using patented technology from CT Electronics' parent company, Convergence Technologies Limited. The new cooler is designed to work with AMD's latest 55nm process GPUs and has nearly half the footprint of a stock HD 4870 cooler yet offers 15% better performance. That means better overclocking results and less noise - not a bad combination. The new cooling technology will be offered through AMD's OEM partners.
