Next Patch Tuesday to be a Big One
Microsoft announced it plans to push out 11 security patches next week affecting a host of products including Internet Explorer, Office, Active Directory and Windows. This ties the number released last month, which had been the largest number released in 18 months. Of the 11, four are rated 'critical', six are 'important' and one 'moderate. The Active Directory patch will not affect consumers as it only relates to a problem in Windows Server 2000.As of this release, Microsoft announced it will no longer issue fixes for Office 2003 SP2 and will only support Office 2003 SP3 in the future.
