Blackberry Storm Makes Official Debut , Coming In November
Last month we saw the unveiling of a possible strong competitor for the iPhone in the shape of the T-Mobile G1. This month it is the turn of Blackberry, with the official debut of the Storm, the company's first touchscreen phone. The touchscreen in question is a little different from normal, being a "clickable" touchscreen. This means a user has to press down to activate functions. Other important features include a 3.2 megapixel camera with zoom, autofocus and flash as well as 1GB of onboard storage (expandable with SD or SDHC cards). You'll be able to get hold of a Storm on Verizon in the U.S. or Vodaphone in Europe and elsewhere. Though pricing details aren't readily available at the moment it does appear you will be able to pick one up for free on a £35 monthly contract in the UK (though you will be tied in for two years). Naturally, the Storm has been getting plenty of media attention, and you'll be able to find plenty of further details around the web, with Gizmodo already having a quick hands on walk through with the device.
