Microsoft wants to make using its LiveSearch service as much fun as a trip to Chuck E Cheese's by offering tickets for searches that can be redeemed for prizes. Called 'SearchPerks!', the program is for Internet Explorer users only and is open to the first million people in the U.S. who sign up (you must be 13-years of age or older). The program lasts through April 15, 2009 and you can earn up to 25 points per day. Too bad the top prize costs 5,500 points - you should've signed up last Saturday in order to have been able to accumulate the maximum number of points. All searches must be entered manually to count. Microsoft has seen it share of the search market dip slightly to about 8.3% compared to Google's 63%.
