If you don't release a game for the PC then pirates can't steal it, or at least that seems to be the conclusion Epic has reached when it comes to the Gears of War sequel. Citing piracy and integrated graphics chips not powerful enough to run the game, Epic has announced GoW2 will be console only. And if you're competent enough to be able upgrade your computer with a discrete graphics processor able to run the game, then apparently you're also the kind of customer Epic can do without. Why? Because "the person who is savvy enough to want to have a good PC to upgrade their video card, is a person who is savvy enough to know BitTorrent to know all the elements so they can pirate software." says Epic's Cliff Bleszinski. So there you have it matey, no GoW sequel for you PC enthusiasts because we're all a bunch of pirates anyway. Arrgghhh!
