In the Reputation Institute's third annual public opinion survey, it ranks Google's corporate reputation number one among the 150 largest U.S. companies. The survey includes the top 150 U.S. coporations based on annual revenue, and this was the first year Google was included in that list. The survey is broken up into seven key "reputation dimensions"; Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, Performance, Leadership, and Products/Services. Google placed number one in Innovation, Workplace, Governance, Citizenship, and Performance, while Johnson & Johnson took the stop spot in Leadership and Products/Services. In the worldwide survey, containing 600 companies across 27 countries, Google ranked second only to Toyota Motor Corp. It's no wonder "google" has become a verb and is as synonymous with searching as Band-Aids is with adhesive bandages.
