NVIDIA Lends A Hand To PhysX On ATI Project
At the end of last month, you may remember the revelation that PhysX physics acceleration was able to work on ATI cards as well as those from NVIDIA. It seems that this hasn't gone un-noticed by the green side (who own PhysX), though their reaction may be slightly surprising to some. That reaction was to give the project their blessing and even go as far as inviting Erin Bandit to join its developer program, which gives access to documentation and NVIDIA hardware and engineers. AMD hasn't offered any such hardware support, though as AMD officially supports Intel's Havok physics engine this is hardly surprising.
