I think OCZ must have just about the largest DDR3 line up of any of the major memory brands, and it recently announced a few more for good measure. The new DDR3 modules carry the Intel Extreme Edition branding and have therefore been optimized for use with the X38 and X48 chipsets, featuring Intel XMP profiles. XMP profiles, much like advanced profiles associated with NVIDIA chipsets, should allow users to extract performance without having to get down and dirty with all those fiddly memory parameters. The new modules will be available in 2GB and 4GB dual channel kits at 1600MHz and 1333MHz, with pre-defined XMP profiles to take them further than that. They come decked out in (Intel branded) XTC heatspreaders. Pricing information not given.
