Computex News: Aeneon Memory
If you keep up with our reviews (which I'm sure you do), then you'll know we recently reviewed some DDR3 memory from Aeneon. Just like pretty much every other company out there, Aeneon (a brand of Qimonda, which was spun off from Infineon a couple of years ago.. keeping up?) also has a presence at Computex and is showing its latest memory products. New DDR3 products include an Xtune 2GB kit running at 1866MHz (CL 10) aimed at overclockers and gamers, with the unique selling point of running at the standard 1.5v, as well as a 4GB kit running at 1600MHz (CL 9). If you thought DDR2 had been forgotten, then think again, as Aeneon are also showing an 8GB Xtune DDR2 kit running at 800MHz targetted at those using a 64-bit OS. Photos later if our man in Taipei happens to drop by.
